ThunderEase Pheromones Calming Spray contains dog appeasing pheromone (D.A.P.), which has been shown to aid in the relief of anxiety caused by kennel or crate confinement, new environments, travel, and other uncomfortable or stressful scenarios.

ThunderEase reduces and controls fear and stress related behavior in dogs and puppies. It calms dogs during visits to the vet or groomer, and comforts them during thunderstorms, fireworks, boarding, kenneling, or moving to a new home, reduces excessive barking, whining and whimpering and anxiety in dogs and puppies.

This spray mimics natural pheromones, working to calm dogs of any age. It is an effective way to reduce or completely put a stop to unwanted stress-related behaviors. These pheromones are known to calm and reassure puppies in stressful times, especially in new, unknown experiences and environments. Research has indicated that these reassuring qualities remain recognizable to dogs throughout life. Dog appeasing pheromone (D.A.P.) works by reproducing the traits of natural appeasing pheromones in mother dogs.

- Avoid skin contact. If skin contact occurs, thoroughly wash using soap and water.
- No marking or staining should occur with use of this product. However, because of the variety of possible materials in your home, a small, inconspicuous area should be tested before continuing with full application.
- Do not spray directly onto animals or onto the face of an animal.
- Keep away from ignition sources and never smoke near this product. It is extremely flammable.
- Keep out of reach of animals and children.

Instructions For Use
- To Reduce Or Prevent Stress During Travelling
Spray 8 to 10 pumps of ThunderEase at least 15 minutes before the dog is introduced into the environment (car, carrier, kennel etc.) one spray should be administered to each of the 4 corners, 2 sprays to the floor and 2 sprays to the top of the carrier or kennel. The effect should last approximately 4 to 5 hours. When transporting your dog on long journeys, we recommend re-spraying the travel carrier or the interior of the vehicle (with the dog removed from the carrier or the car). Please wait 15 minutes for alcohol evaporation.
- To help manage stress-related behaviors in other challenging situations (adoption, moving house, new member of the family, staying in a kennel, staying alone at home, fireworks, thunderstorm etc.), in combination with ThunderEase Diffuser or ThunderEase Collar
ThunderEase Spray can be sprayed directly on bedding, inside crates or indoor kennels, at least 15 minutes before the dog is introduced into the environment. Renew application twice a day.
ThunderEase Spray should not be directly sprayed on animals or near an animal’s face.

Since 1997, eight dogs (Labradors, Dalmatian, and Rat Terriers) in our household have used Adaptil Travel Spray and its forerunner Comfort Zone spray, w/HUGE SUCCESS. Beneficial for: nervous travelers, adverse weather, visitors, and noisy fireworks. We spritz bandana's w/spray, wait a few minutes then slip on the dogs. The only side affect I've noticed is a good one--they settle down and/or fall asleep in about 5 minutes. For extra measure, I also spray their bed & any surface they recline on (w/no staining issues). I've shared this advice and the product itself (we always keep 1-2 extra bottles on hand) w/co-workers, church members, neighbors, and folks we meet while camping. It works at easing their anxiety, which in turn eases our concern for their health and well-being. Hey Adaptil (hint-hint): It would be nice if there was also a larger bottle for households w/multiple animals. Thanks for a great product!
