Albon (sulfadimethoxine) is a low-dose, rapidly absorbed, long-acting sufonamide. Albon is effective in the treatment of shipping fever complex and bacterial pneumonia associated with Pasteurella spp. Sensitive to sulfadimethoxine; and calfdiphtheria and foot rot associated with Fusobacterium necrophorum sensitive to sulfadimethoxine in cattle.
Cattle
Treatment for bacterial pneumonia, shipping fever, foot rot, calf diphtheria. Effective against some strains of Strep, Staph, Klebsiella, Shigella, Proteus, E. coli and Salmonella.
