Amoxicillin Oral Suspension 200 mg/5 ml, 100 ml is an antibiotic that is similar to penicillin and is broad spectrum. It’s intended for the treatment of infection that is bacterial in nature and is to be used in cats and dogs.
*Prior to use, this product must be mixed with water.
Amoxicillin is a penicillin-like broad spectrum antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms.
Amoxicillin Oral Suspension is intended for cat and dog use only.
Amoxicillin Oral Suspension is used for the treatment of infections of a bacterial nature in cats and dogs.
Amoxicillin Oral Suspension works by fighting bacteria and stopping growth through the prevention of cell wall formation. This eventually eradicates bacteria and eliminates infection.
Amoxicillin's side effects include:
- Appetite loss
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Nausea

- Incoordination
- Rapid heart rate
- Fever

* Pet parent must mix this product with water prior to use. The usual dose of amoxicillin in dogs and cats is 5-10 mg/pound every 12-24 hours. Amoxicillin can be given with or without food.
