Amoxicillin Tablets are a wide range penicillin based antibiotic used to treat a multitude of infections resulting from the overgrowth of harmful strains of bacteria. They are available in single 500mg tablets.
Intended for use in dogs and cats.
Dogs and Cats
Amoxicillin is highly effective in extinguishing a large spectrum of infections caused by the overgrowth of harmful bacteria. Often used in the treatment of:
- ear infections
- urinary tract infections,
- skin infections (infected abrasion from bite)
- upper respiratory infections
- bladder infections
- dental infections
Amoxicillin works by inhbiting the proliferation of bacterial cells by intervening with the maintnence and reproductive cycles integral to their growth.
Amoxicillin may cause agitated stomach, vomiting, and diarrhea. In the case of stomach agitation, administer this drug with food. Symptoms may diminish as treatment continues. If negative side effects continues, call your veterinarian.
