Venom Vet is indicated for the management of minimal to severe North American crotalid envenomation in dogs 6 months of age and older. This would include envenomation from all rattlesnakes, copperheads and cottonmouths/water moccasin snakes.

-No reconstitution necessary. No mixing or waiting. Ready to use immediately.

Early use of Venom Vet (within 6 hours of snakebite) has been shown to be effective in stabilizing and reducing the clinical deterioration and the occurrence on toxicity of a dog’s: cells, muscles, nerves and blood cells. It is a polyvalent antivenin using the venoms from various snake species to create a proprietary antivenin effective against all varieties of United States rattlesnakes, copperheads and water moccasins (Crotalids). Because of its polyvalent character, it is effective in immunological cross neutralization. Venom Vet is obtained from the blood of healthy horses who have been immunized with crotalid venoms.
