For use in dogs and cats
Features of Cephalexin:
- Treats bacterial skin infections
- Prevents secondary infections
- Treats joint, bone, respiratory tract, and urinary tract infections
Cephalexin suppresses the growth of fungi, protozoa, bacteria, and other microorganisms.
Cephalexin is considered an effective, yet very safe, antibiotic. The following adverse reactions have been infrequently reported:
- Allergic reactions, such as difficulty breathing, rash, or itching
- Diarrhea
- Vomiting
- Appetite loss
Cephalexin Monohydrate
Immediately contact your closest animal hospital
Immediately contact your pet's veterinarian if any allergic reactions are observed, including:
- Unusual bruising or bleeding
- Swelling of the face, tongue, or lips
- Blood or mucus in the stool
- Diarrhea
- Vomiting
- Hives
- Rash
- Shortness of breath
