Ciprofloxacin Ophthalmic Solution 0.3% is used in the treatment of bacterial eye infections, including conjunctivitis. It stops bacterial growth. This drug is only used to treat bacterial infections of the eye.
For use in horses, cats, and dogs.
Ciprofloxacin is used to locally treat superficial eye infections caused by polymyxin- and oxytetracycline-sensitive organisms, including infections caused by:
- Blepharitis
- Corneal ulcers
- Pink eye
- Keratitis
- Conjunctivitis
- Other A. aerogenes
- Rickettsiae
- E. coli
- Streptococci
Ciprofloxacin stops bacterial growth.
Occasionally, an allergic reaction may occur. If the reaction is severe, discontinue use.
Ciprofloxacin
Immediately contact your closest animal hospital.
Overuse or unneeded use of antibiotics can lead to a decrease in effectiveness.
