Product Overview
Elevate Se provides a supplemental natural vitamin E source, along with organic selenium. It is a great choice for horses with dietary selenium deficiencies, horses with no pasture access, breeding stock, and performance horses.
It is a supplemental source of natural vitamin E and organic selenium for all classes of horses.
For use in horses of all classes.
Elevate Se works to maintain immune strength, support reproductive and nerve function, and promote muscle health.
Selenium and Vitamin E work together in defense of bodily cells, protecting them from free radicals (damaging oxidative by-products). Normal production of energy results in a release of free radicals. Selenium is a glutathione peroxidase component, which is a helpful enzyme that prevents formation of free radicals and works to destroy lipid peroxidases. These enzymes are not beneficial and are damaging to the cell membranes. After damage occurs, cells cannot function appropriately. This leaves the horse susceptible to a variety of health issues.
