Flexprofen Flavored Tab uses
This product is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that helps to treat pain and inflammation symptomatic of arthritis and other joint related conditions, such as hip dysplasia. This product may also be used to minimize fever, as well as pain and inflammation resulting post surgical procedure. Beef flavored for effortless feeding.
What does Flexprofen Flavored Tab do?
The mechanism of action of carprofen, like that of other NSAIDs, is believed to be associated with the inhibition of cyclooxygenase activity.

Gastrointestinal: Vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, inappetence, melena, hematemesis, gastrointestinal ulceration, gastrointestinal bleeding, pancreatitis.

What to know before using Flexprofen Flavored Tab
Keep away from children. For treatment of dogs only. If consumed by a human, be sure to contact a doctor. Do not give carprofen to dogs that have previously demonstrated adverse an adverse reaction to it.

Tips for using Flexprofen Flavored Tab
It is highly advised that dogs are tested and examined before being prescribed NSAIDs. These tests should work to determine critical hematological and serum biochemical starting point information before and intermitantly during administration. These tests are crucial before treatment of NSAIDs.

Use as directed by your Veterinarian.
Always read client information sheet with prescription. The recommended dosage for oral administration to dogs is 2 mg/lb (4.4 mg/kg) of body weight daily.
The total daily dose may be administered as 2 mg/lb of body weight once daily or divided and administered as 1 mg/lb (2.2 mg/kg) twice daily.
For the control of postoperative pain, administer approximately 2 hours before the procedure.
