For use on dogs, cats and horses (not for food animal use) as a topical wound management solution. In cases of pressure ulcers, surgical wounds, 1st and 2nd degree burns, chronic and acute wounds, venous stasis ulcers, and autograft procedures.

HYCOAT® 10 mL is a sterile solution containing 50 mg of sodium hyaluronate, having a pH between 6.5-7.25. The average relative molecular weight of HYCOAT 10 mL/50 mg is 1.0-1.3 MM Daltons.

What does HYCOAT 50 mg 10 ml do?
Helps manage surgically induced and chronic wounds by providing a moisture rich environment and acts as a tissue coating. Protects the wound bed by the formation of an occlusive gelatinous barrier (coating), reducing the chance for infection. Helps reduce pain at the wound site (through occlusive properties) by sealing off nerve endings that signal pain.
