Product Overview
Not all pour-on dewormers are created equal. For broad-spectrum protection,
efficacy and duration, IVOMEC® Pour-On (ivermectin topical solution) is the
way to go to protect your beef cattle herd. It covers more than 30 species and
stages of internal and external parasites, including mange mites and lice, that
can hurt your herd’s health, reproduction and overall performance.
Choose IVOMEC Pour-On: the pour-on dewormer trusted by producers
worldwide for reliable control of internal and external parasites for more than
35 years.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: Do not treat cattle within 48 days
of slaughter. Do not use in female dairy cattle of breeding age or in veal
calves. Do not use in other animal species not on the label, as severe
adverse reactions may result. Ivermectin has been associated with
adverse reactions in sensitive dogs; therefore, IVOMEC Pour-On
(ivermectin topical solution) is not recommended for use in species other than cattle.
IVOMEC Pour-On offers persistent activity against the most damaging internal parasites of cattle.

This potent pour-on product provides effective management of a range parasitic infestations fourteen days after application.
This product’s mechanism of action works by radically intervening with glutamate-gated chloride ion channels in parasites, leading to a disruption in their normal nerve or muscle cell function. Its effect is the paralysis and subsequent death of the parasite. Mammals do not have glutamate-gated chloride ion channels, which results in this product's safety.
