Meloxicam is a nonsteroidal ant-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat inflammation and reduce pain associated with acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders such as osteoarthritis and arthritis in dogs and cats.

What does Meloxicam Tablet do?
Meloxicam blocks prostaglandin-making enzymes (cyclooxygenase 1 and 2) and it reduces prostaglandin levels. Because of this action, it may help to reduce inflammation and the symptoms thereof.

The most frequently reported adverse reaction to NSAIDs is upset stomach. However, other side effects could develop because of stomach ulcers, including:
