Great calming collar. I've been using this since I rescued my scared, traumatized cat. It keeps him calm, happy and relaxed. Without it, he gets scared and displays anxious behaviors.

My cat has behavioral urination issues believed to be caused by stress. This helps him stay calmer & no more urinating.

I used to rate these 5 stars ALL the way. However these collars have changed. A LOT. *I am not sure what Meridian has done to their collars, but these no longer work the way they used to.* 1) - They no longer contain the classic "pheromone carrier powder". When I first saw this I thought the collar was defective, but they are all like this. 2) THEY NOW HAVE FRAGRANCE ADDED!!! They used to have a teeny tiny bit of a smell. Now, there is a definite fragrance added. I CANNOT STAND THE SMELL! These collars make my Kitty a lap cat, yet I cannot stand the way he smells. :( 3) One collar used to last 3 (three), weeks. Now I am lucky if I get 11 days of efficacy. I mark my calendar every time I put one on him and I color code the clear portion as well. THIS DOES NOT MAKE MY WALLET HAPPY. 4) I have not received an answer to any of my questions from Meridian. Spending well over $300 dollars a year on their product apparently does not warrant an answer to my concerns in the very apparent changes to their product. Finally, I have tried all the other brands and diffusers. Still this is the only product that helps Kitty. 11 days or not, I refuse to let Kitty suffer and jump and flinch over everything. And I mean everything. Even snapping your fingers. I have been using these for 7 years. They have changed. About a year ago. grrrr.

My vet gave me one of these when my cat started getting mean. He is once again a gentle giant for 30 days. Then its new collar time. The effects were seen within 24 hours. He initially did not like the collar but he is okay with it now. make sure to leave 2 finger of space. no more no less

After a month of obsessive grooming following the move to a new house, my cat had this collar on for fewer than 24 hours when she stopped the behavior. She wore it for a month while she continued to settle in; I removed the collar and she didn't start the behavior again.

If you want an effective calming collar without the strong scent of lavender (like Sentry collars) this is what you need. Works well and it is scent free.

We have 6 cats and some of them are rather twichy. This helps them all get along better.

One of our three cats is crazy, loving but has a lot of anxiety. We noticed an immediate change in her behaviors today after putting the collar on her. It took her a little bit to get used to wearing the collar itself but she has been very calm tonight and the normal things that would set her off...haven't. If this is what it takes to help her, we will always have a supply on hand.

I have two crazy siamese mix rescue cats, one is super hyper, loveable, and adorable, and the other only loves me and hisses or worse at everyone else, including my husband. The vet recommended these collars. This is the first month they are wearing them. I wouldn't say there was a drastic change, but there is definitely a change in both their attitudes, and they never even tried to get the collars off after the vet put them on. That really surprised me because they are ten years old and I have tried to have them wear a regular collar for identification in case they would get out and they never liked it.

A neighbor cat comes around our doors and windows and bothers my cat. She becomes very stressed because of this neighbor cat and will fight with her sister. The pheromone collar helps to alleviate this situation.

I bought this product at my local vet's office and put it on my cat George. Wow, he is a totally different cat now. Before he was full of aggression towards another of my cats, now he isn't attacking Peanut and tearing the house apart in the fights he would start. WOW! That is all I can say. My cat is a female and she has sprayed all over my house. Disgusting I know. She was a stray and now I know why! LOL This collar really seemed to make a difference in her whole attitude. She still isn't perfect, but her issues have cut down by at least 90%. Certainly worth the time and money...she is much more relaxed now. I am a lifetime buyer!

I was skeptical but tried them. I had a calico I was transferring to a new home that had a Tortie. We put collars on both of them and it really seemed to help. The tortie growled but did not attack and the Calico seemed to adapt very quickly. I then put one on one of my males that is always very upset at other cats. He did just fine and the minute I took the collar off he was hissing and growling. I just ordered 3 more. I rescue cats and have many, many cats at my house and fights and behavior issues are a constant with the older ones. I am truly hoping based on the success thus far to alleviate if not just tone down some of the squabbling.

It's still a bit early, but I am starting to see an improved attitude in my 3 month old kitten. She's not automatically hissing at me when I reach toward her, and seems calmer overall.

I have a kitty with a serious spraying problem. He does not handle change very easily or certain folks coming to our home. He does very well with the feliway wipes, but they were not available at this site. So, I am trying the collar as recommended by his Vet. However, there is a 2nd male in the household and that is his main anxiety trigger because the other male is bigger than him. Plus, we live in a rural area and he sees a lot of wildlife, hence the marking!

Great product for calming sensitive or aggressive cats. We have used the NurtureCALM 24/7 Pheromone Collars several times in the past 3 years and they were very effective in calming the cats in a matters of days and last at least 30 days.

I know all cats are a bit different but while using this collar it made my cat a bit crazy and very mean! I bought it to calm him down and discontinue his inappropriate peeing and instead it had the opposite effect. He not only was peeing MORE but also scratched me on the face which he would never do under normal circumstances. He's usually a big sweetie. When I used the collar the first time I thought it was just the kitten getting him aggravated and he was acting out. He wore it the whole month and as the product wore out, so did his bad behavior. I used a 2nd one and immediately his bad behavior returned a big way... I'll never use this product again and can't say I'd ever recommend it. I'm going with some more homeopathic remedies my friend recommended and stay far away from this product. Not good at all!

My cat was suffering from sterile cystitis, which basically mimics a urinary tract infection. Our vet mentioned that it might be anxiety or stress that is triggering the symptoms. After using the collar and switching to low stress food, my cat is now symptom free! She's been much calmer and has had no adverse effects at this time.

My nine year old cat Romeo is much calmer and less needy with this collar on. I have tried other brands with no results. I purchased my first NurtureCalm 24/7 collar after researching pheromone collars, and seeing great reviews on this brand, however most pet supply stores (including those online) carry other brands that are not effective. I located a vet specializing in cat care near my home, and purchased the collar for $20 just to try it out. Now that I know it works I am ordering five more from Allivet for less than $11 per collar, plus no shipping charge when you order a minimum of $50. Can't beat that!

We are trying to integrate two cats into a house with one cat. The no-kill cat shelter in our town uses these collars to great success. When we vistited the shelter, some cats had the collars, some didn't. ALL were getting along.

We originally bought 2 of these collars from our Vet because we had to bring our injured barn cat in to the house and only two of our house cats accept her. One is slowly coming around under supervision but the 4th cat absolutely wants to torment her. She has been in the house since November and had started to manifest potty issues. The Vet didn't find any urinary tract problems but thought she was just really stressed. The collar has calmed her down and we also put one on the cat that doesn't like her and she is much calmer, under supervision they can be in the same room now. But the Vet price was $30 for two collars and to keep them both in collars for a few months I decided to see about the same product with a cheaper price. Allivet has a very good price, it was easy to order from and the 5 collars came in only 5 days for only $51. What a savings and great service. If the Vet recommends the collar for a longer period of time I'll be ordering again.

I found this product several dollars cheaper from Allivet than in the stores. This product has helped my cat's anxiety greatly!

I don't know what I would do without my NurtureCALM 24/7 collars for my 8 cats! They have made our household much calmer, with the three alpha cats actually getting along, while the more timid cats are coming out of their shells. I highly recommend these collars for multiple cats owners where there are territorial issues, etc. My two feral kittens have calmed down and now allow me to groom them gently...a bit longer each day. Worth every penny!

I have a bunch of cats, and there are two boys that just don't get along- a 3 y/o and a 10 y/o- both neutered. Well, really just one cat that can't get along: the 10 y/o. It's getting bad, and the 10 y/o is peeing on all of our things. This collar was the first step in trying to solve this problem. I put it on both of the boys, and my 3 y/o was a different cat! He'd always been a big sweetheart, but I never realized how uptight he was, either territorially or by just being a young boy always in the house. It was like, all of a sudden, he was 'stopping to smell the flowers.' He's not antagonizing his siblings like he used to, either. He backs down from the 10 y/o a lot quicker, and he doesn't try to escape outside so much any more. He's an even more awesome cat now! I'm using the collar routinely with him for a while. Sadly, it didn't help the problem of my 10 y/o .....

We have a cat (Callie Joe (fe) that as soon as she sees one of our other cats *Gus (ml) she screams!!! He can be12 feet away and it don't make a difference. Gus has been her for over a year now and things have not changed. Its time to see if this will make the change. This will be our first try but I'm expecting good results.

My cat is a bit jumpy and insecure (she's a pound kitty). She was in the habit of spraying walls, furniture, closet doors, etc., whenever she got upset or nervous. Anything from a strange cat in the neighborhood to separation anxiety to not getting attention when she wants it can set her off. Our vet recommended this collar (she also charged $17 for it! It's a lot cheaper on this site.) This collar worked immediately. Our kitty mellowed out right away, and the spraying stopped. The collar only lasts about one month, though. I put the collar on her just under four weeks ago, and she started spraying again a few days ago when some noisy road construction began in front of our house. I've ordered 5 more collars to get the free shipping discount :-).

I have a pure bred Siamese that wants to be boss cat over EVERY cat in the house. The new kitty I rescued from outside has been his target from the time he was brought in! I have or had 2 cats with stressed personalities -- cowering, hiding, over-reacting to noise, failing to use the litter box.
