Mupirocin Ointment is an antibiotic that treats specific types of skin infection, such as impetigo, by inhibiting bacterial growth.
For use in dogs.
Mupirocin inhibits bacterial growth on the skin and treats skin infections.
Mupirocin inhibits growth of both gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria to offer relief from infection symptoms.
The most frequently reported side effects of Mupirocin are:
- Burning Sensation
- Itching
- Stinging

- If your pet has previously had an allergic reaction to Mupirocin Ointment, notify your veterinarian.
- Safety has not been proven for use in breeding or pregnant animals.

Taro, Perrigo or other generic brand
Avoid applying other topical medications at the same time as Mupirocin unless your veterinarian has approved them for concurrent use. Other medications have the potential to inhibit the effectiveness or absorption of Mupirocin.
