Product Overview
Naproxen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that is useful in treating pain and inflammation caused by arthritis.
Tablets are sold individually.
Naproxen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug helping reduce pain caused for a wide range of pain causing conditions
For use in horses.
Naproxen works to relieve:
- Bursitis pain
- Tendinitis
- Arthritis pain
- Lameness
Naproxen aids in pain reduction associated with gout, bursitis, tendonitis, and arthritis because it helps to reduce pain and inflammation-causing hormones within the body of the horse.
- Symptoms of overdose include toxicity, appetite loss, colic, and/or depression.
- While side effects are infrequently reported, gastrointestinal issues can occur. This includes gastrointestinal pain, diarrhea, and/or ulcers.
- Rarely, adverse reactions can include protein loss, bleeding disorders, or kidney damage.
Naproxen
Contact your closest emergency pet hospital.
- Because of the risk of gastrointestinal ulcers, naproxen should not be administered to any animal on anticoagulants or anti-inflammatories.
- Carefully monitor or avoid administration to horses with gastrointestinal issues, kidney disease, or liver disease.
- In many sanctioned competitions, naproxen is a prohibited or regulated substance.

Naproxen should not be combined with any other anti-inflammatory, anticoagulant such as warfarin drugs since it tends to cause GI ulcers.

Great product! I was looking for a similar kind of product online, but it had steroids and I didn't want to treat my horse with something that contained steroids. Luckily, I found Naproxen and it worked great and doesn't have any steroids. Great product all in all.
