Neo Poly Dex Ophthalmic Suspension combines three potent ingredients - dexamethasone, an anti-inflammatory steroid; along with polymyxin B and neomycin, two effective antibiotics. The most common uses for this medication are several types of corneal conditions, nonulcerative keratitis, and severe conjunctivitis.
For use in horses, cats, and dogs.
Neo Poly Dex Ophthalmic Suspension is most commonly used in the treatment of certain types of corneal conditions, nonulcerative keratitis, and severe conjunctivitis.
Polymyxin B and Neomycin are bacteria-killing antibiotics, and dexamethasone is a corticosteroid that treats inflammation.
While serious adverse reactions are not expected with Neo Poly Dex, they may still occur. The following minor symptoms could arise:
- Sensitivity to light
- Eyelid swelling
- Eyelid itching
- Blurred vision
- Redness
- Itching
- Irritation
- Stinging
- Burning

Immediately contact your closest animal hospital.
- Avoid touching the tube or dropper opening to any surface, including the hands or eyes.
- If your pet appears to have difficulty breathing, itching, or swelling of the face, notify your veterinarian.
