Phenylbutazone Powder is an anti-inflammatory, synthetic powder for use in horses. It relieves inflammatory musculoskeletal conditions, treating muscle strains and sprains, arthritis, acute joint sprains, acute joint strains, acute joint injuries, tendonitis, overuse of the muscles (including tendon damage and strain and muscle damage), muscle strains, and muscle sprains.
Phenylbutazone is for the relief of inflammatory conditions associated with the musculoskeletal system in horses.

Phenylbutazone Powder is a palatable powder with a citrus flavor. It is easy to administer as a top dress in your horse's daily ration, and it aids in the relief of inflammatory musculoskeletal system conditions.
This compound has anti-inflammatory qualities that offer an analgesic effect.
Withdraw use if any signs of jaundice, blood dyscrasia, gastrointestinal upset, or jaundice are observed.

- Closely monitor or avoid administering to animals taking other anti-inflammatory medications, including corticosteroids or NSAIDs.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Not for use in horses intended for food slaughter.
- Do not administer to animals with a history of blood dyscrasia, serious cardiac pathology, serious renal pathology, or serious hepatic pathology.
- Only for use in horses.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: For Horses Only: Administer orally (using the 0.6 ounce (18 mL) scoop provided) on a small amount of palatable feed and mix well. Give 1 to 2 level scoops per 500 pounds of body weight, but do not exceed 4 scoops per animal daily. Use the high dose for the first 48 hours, then gradually reduce to a maintenance dose.
