It does so naturally by supplying potassium citrate to increase the pH of your pet's urine. These easily administered oral tablets are available in two strengths for your convenience.
For use in cats and dogs.
Increases the urinary pH in your pet, which effectively prevents the formation of kidney stones.
This medication helps to make the urine less acidic, leading to a reduction in the formation of kidney stones that can occur because of high uric acid or calcium levels in the urine.
Side effects are rare when appropriately dosed. However, gastrointestinal effects are possible, including:
- Diarrhea
- Vomiting
- Inappetence
