For use in horses, cats, and dogs.
Prednisolone Acetate 1% Ophthalmic Suspension treats inflammation caused by surgery or infections and works to reduce swelling.
Prednisolone Acetate Ophthalmic Suspension is a corticosteroid that reduces eye inflammation.
Rarely the following side effects could occur:
- Corneal perforation
- Cataract formation
- Increased pressure within the eye
- Sensitivity to light
- Blurred vision
- Redness
- Itching
- Irritation
- Stinging
- Burning
Prednisolone Acetate
Immediately contact your closest animal hospital.
- Tell your veterinarian about any other eye medications or eye drops your pet is using prior to starting Prednisolone Acetate Ophthalmic Solution.
- If your pet has itching, swelling of the face, or appears to have difficulty breathing, immediately notify your veterinarian.
- Do not touch the opening of the dropper to any surface, including hands or eyes.

If you skip a dose, apply the missed dose when you remember. However, if it is almost time to apply the next dose, skip the missed dose and apply the next one as directed. Never apply two doses at once.
