My cat had "crystals" in his bladder. Adding this food to his diet has helped the issue. Though it doesn't smell appetizing, when mixed with cat treats, the cat gobbles it down.

This canned food is prescribed by our vet, but our vet does not keep it in stock. She has to special order it, and it usually doesn't arrive until long after our supply is empty. One click with the web site and our order was complete and on our porch within 4 days - regular shipping. My cat LOVES this product, devours it - and he doesn't know (at least I don't think he does!) that it is good for his innards! Thank you Allivet.

My cat has suffered from FLUTD for years now. When we first took him to the vet this is the food the vet gave us for him to eat. I try to always keep it in stock because I can't afford another 3,000 vet bill. This food does work great for FLUTD.

I've been using this prescription urinary st/ox Purina brand for 7 years now, all of sudden in the last few months I noticed a change in the food, a darker color and larger morsels, very different. My cat also become very ill and was vomiting, and he was not eating and losing weight. I called Purina they said they did not change the formula which is clearly NOT TRUE! I would recommend Hills brand, NOT Purina, My cat has been on Hills brand urinary now and he is eating again and all is well. Stay away from Purina!

My cat ate the food right away, but wasn't as enthusiastic about it like her previous kibble. However, her appetite improved and it seems to help her bladder condition. I just wish it wasn't so much money.

Several years ago, one of my cats suffered from reoccurring crystals in his urine. After several procedures to remove them, my doctor recommended that we try Purina UR. He never had the problem again. A couple years ago, my vet stopped carrying it. I tried the alternative, but my cats were clearly not as happy with the taste. I found the UR online and have been getting it ever since. I've tried a few companies, but Allivet is the economical I have found.

My cats do well on it, but they don't LOVE it. They'll eat if it's fresh and only a 1/4 can at a time. They prefer the dry food.
