For obese or overweight cats, this food is formulated especially to aid in weight loss, maintain muscle, and support urinary system health. It provides an ideal nutritional balance and meets the needs of your adult cat. It also contains antioxidants for overall wellness. Natural fiber makes this food tasty, and the formula creates an environment that is unfavorable for calcium oxalate or struvite crystal formation.

My vet prescribed this food for my large diabetic cat. After trying the diabetic mgmt variety, and adjusting his dosage of insulin, he is stabilized and doing fine on this food. The upside is, his sister can also eat this food so I don't have to worry with two kinds of food and separating them at mealtime. UPDATE. My felines are still doing extremely well on this food, however...I am most likely going to switch suppliers. I have been an Allivet customer for a looong time.
