Viralys Powder for Cats contains L-Lysine to lessen infection signs and reduce shedding of viruses. This nutritional supplement works well on feline herpes, which is an extremely common upper respiratory illness in cats (also called rhinotracheitis virus). Cats living among many other cats or who frequent environments with other cats are especially susceptible to this virus.

Viralys relieves symptoms and works to reduce shedding of viruses. It is an easily administered (simply sprinkle into your cat's food) and extremely palatable formula.
L-Lysine aids in minimizing and controlling feline herpes symptoms.

Symptoms of feline herpes virus infection include sneezing, nasal discharge, and watery eyes. L-Lysine is an amino acid that has shown proven effectiveness against duration and severity of infections.
Each 322 mg (one rounded scoop) contains approximately 250 mg of L-Lysine in a palatable base. The suggested dose for cats over 6 months of age is one rounded scoop given orally twice daily. The suggested dose for kittens under 6 months of age is 1/2 scoop given orally twice daily. Adjust dosage as recommended by your veterinarian
