- Amoxicillin is a semi-synthetic penicillin. It could potentially produce allergic reactions. If this occurs, immediately administer steroids and/or epinephrine.

- Symptoms may lessen or disappear completely with continued use. If symptoms persist, you should notify your veterinarian.

Sold by the tablet in strengths of 50 mg, 100 mg, 150 mg, 200 mg or 400 mg.

Dosage and Administration :
Dogs: The recommended dosage is 5 mg/lb of body weight twice per day.
Cats: The recommended daily dosage is 50 mg (5-10 mg/lb) administered once.
Dosage should be continued for 5-7 days or 48 hours after all symptoms have subsided. If no improvement is seen in 5 days, review diagnosis and change therapy.
