Bravecto is an oral chew used to prevent flea infestations, kill fleas and many types of ticks for 12 weeks. It kills lone star ticks for 8 weeks. Bravecto (fluralaner), is the longest lasting oral flea and tick medication approved by the FDA.

Bravecto works by rapidly reaching tissue fluids under the dog's skin. Ticks and fleas die when they feed on your dog and ingest Bravecto. Bravecto chew is approved by the FDA.
The following adverse reactions and side effects have been reported:
- Diarrhea
- Vomiting
- Hair Loss
- Decrease of appetite
- Excess thirst
- Lethargy
- Flatulence
- Excessive thirst
Seizures have been reported in dogs receiving isoxazoline class drugs, even in dogs without a history of seizures. Use with caution in dogs with a history of seizures or neurologic disorders.
Side effects may last anywhere from 30 minutes to three hours, depending on which one your dog experiences. If your dog has side effects for an extended period of time, contact your veterinarian.

- Orange: (250 mg dose): Dogs 9.9 - 22 lbs
- Green: (500 mg dose): Dogs 22 - 44 lbs
- Blue: (1000 mg dose): Dogs 44 - 88 lbs

- Provide minimum dose of 11.4 mg/lb (25 mg/kg) of body weight
- You may administer minimum dose every 8 weeks if exposed to Amblyomma americanum ticks

- Dogs over 123 lbs should be administered the appropriate combination of chews as prescribed by your veterinarian
- You may begin treatment with Bravecto chew at any time of the year and continue year round without interruption
