What to know before using Pala-Tech Vitamin K1 50 mg Chewable Tablets for Dogs, 50 ct
Keep away from animals and children. Precaution(s): Temporary resistance to prothrombin-depressing anticoagulants may result, especially when larger doses of phytonadione are used. It is recommended that Pala-Tech™ Vitamin K1 Chewable Tablets be used in follow-up only after administration of Vitamin K1 injection and hospitalization is no longer required. An immediate coagulant effect should not be expected after administration of phytonadione when administered orally. Phytonadione will not counteract the anticoagulant action of heparin. Failure to respond to Vitamin K1 may indicate that the condition being treated is inherently unresponsive to Vitamin K1.

Directions : Administer orally at the rate of 2.5 - 5.0 mg/kg body weight (1 chewable tablet per each 44 pounds of body weight for lower dosage or 1 chewable tablet per each 22 pounds for higher dosage) daily as conditions require up to three weeks.
Each tablet, Pala-Tech™ Vitamin K1 Chewable Tablets, may be given orally to dogs as a treat, or crumbled over their food. If crumbled over food, consumption should be monitored.
Active Ingredient: Phytonadione 50 mg.
Inactive Ingredients: Cellulose, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein, Iron Oxide, Liver Powder, Magnesium Stearate, Silicone Dioxide, Stearic Acid, Sucrose and Whey.
