VetOne Vitamin K1 Chewable Tablets are tasty, chewable, beef-flavored tablets that use phytonadione to counter the effects of hypoprothrombinemia caused by coumarin-based compound digestion, typical commercial rodenticide ingredients, and other types of drug-related hypoprothrombinemia definitely resulting from Vitamin K metabolism interference (such as salicylates). It is indicated for follow-up treatment after Vitamin K-1 injections or hospitalization are completed.
For use in cats or in dogs weighing between 11 and 22 pounds.

This product can be administered to cats or dogs orally as a treat, or crumbled over the food. Be sure to monitor consumption.
Administer orally at the rate of 2.5-5 mg/kg of body weight (1 tablet per each 22 pounds of body weight for lower dosage or 1 tablet per each 11 pounds of body weight for higher dosage) daily as conditions require up to 3 weeks. Frequency and amount of oral administration should be guided by regular determination of prothrombin time. The smallest effective dose should be sought to minimize the risk of adverse reactions.
