Virbantel controls worms and parasites.
Virbantel is a dewormer that treats many parasitic infections, including tapeworm, hookworm, and roundworm.
Side effects are infrequently reported, but your dog may experience diarrhea. If this occurs, make sure they remain well-hydrated. If your dog does develop a negative side effect, it is likely to be a reaction to the dead or dying parasites. In this case, seek immediate veterinary attention.
pyrantel pamoate / praziquantel
Contact your closest animal hospital.
- Your dog should be closely monitored during treatment.
- Follow your veterinarian's exact instructions.
- Do not administer for longer than prescribed.
- If you believe your dog may have worms, visit your veterinarian.
- Only administer Virbantel for hookworm, roundworm, or tapeworm. It is not an effective treatment for other parasites.
