This triple-antibiotic solution is recommended by veterinarians to treat superficial bacterial eye infections by reducing eyelid and eye inflammation and swelling. These infections can include:
- Blepharoconjunctivitis
- Blepharitis
- Keratoconjunctivitis
- Keratitis
- Conjunctivitis
Potential side effects include:
- Local irritation following instillation
- Severe hypersensitivity, which can include anaphylaxis (a rare potential adverse reaction requiring immediate veterinary attention)
- Conjunctival erythema
- Swelling
- Itching
